Chef de Cuisine

Born in Bacolod City, Philippines, and raised in Chicago and Detroit, Jodee Reyes grew up surrounded by family gatherings that ignited a deep curiosity for the culinary arts. With a strong foundation built from helping her single mother in the kitchen, she pursued his passion through a technical high school program and later graduated from Schoolcraft College for Culinary Arts in Livonia, Michigan.

After graduation in 2018, she began her professional journey at the Country Club of Detroit, advancing through roles from line cook to banquet sous chef. In 2023, a pivotal stage with Chef Carlo Lamagna deepened her commitment to bringing Filipino cuisine to the forefront of the culinary world.

In 2024, Jodee Reyes moved to Denver to join Magna Kainan as Chef de Cuisine. Today, she is dedicated to representing Filipino culture, community, and flavors through his cooking, striving to inspire curiosity and connection with every dish.
